First Narrative Project- Wahey!

For our group project (consisting of the lovely Heidi Grover and Sam Cannon), we have been given the following:

IN THE CIRCUS

"THE FEMALE OF THE SPECIES IS MORE DEADLY THAN THE MALE"

Here are my initial thoughts:

Circus

When we were given circus (especially in relation to our quote implying a dominant masterful character) I thought of the scene in Coroline with the mouse circus controlled by Mr. Bobinsky

Canary Wharf London

My second thought was more of the circus metaphor for the business world. The busy world of business men and women. In relation to the quote it would be topical in that strong female business leaders and becoming more prominent in today's society.

Meryl Streep in "Devil Wears Prada"

The "female boss" character led me think of a woman similar to Meryl Streeps character in "Devil Wears Prada"

In terms of an artistic style, a female ringmaster would definitely be interesting.
