Collections and Ways of Choosing a Story

I feel like a good way for the viewer to "choose" what story they want to hear, implying that there are many more would be to house, among the clutter, a collection of some description. I came up with a few ideas after thinking about the sort of things that are in my granddad's house. I personally like the spoons because they are more unique and a good way of showing the audiences that he's visited a lot of places.
