Research into Art Styles and Infographics

I did some research into 40s and 50s fashion patterns and illustrations. The art styles of which lend themselves well to the bold style of infographics. Many of them have an almost collage like effect, and all of which promote the female stereotypes of the era, which is what I will satire in my infographic.

I looked into the visual style of infographics, which revolves mainly around bold colours and vector graphics.  Retro 40s and 50s cartoons have a similar style, so this combination could work well for producing an infographic with both a bold simple style and also a style reflecting the era it is based on.
